Earth holidays don't seem strange or foreign to me anymore. Last weekend was "Mother's Day", and celebrating it didn't seem weird at all-- it was normal, even though we didn't have anything like it in the Fire Nation.

You could make the argument that I've been here for too long, but I'm still not convinced it's a bad thing.

I agree. Some Earth holidays I find pointless, but this one isn't so bad.

I still like appreciating mine every day, though.

Oh I agree. It shouldn't be used as an excuse to spend the rest of the year being unappreciative. But it's still nice to have the excuse to go that little bit extra.

That's another great thing about Mother's Day - it's a chance to actually spend time with your mom.

I know what you mean. During one of the viruses when mine was still here, we were all transplanted into a high schol and she was my health teacher.
