Earth holidays don't seem strange or foreign to me anymore. Last weekend was "Mother's Day", and celebrating it didn't seem weird at all-- it was normal, even though we didn't have anything like it in the Fire Nation.

You could make the argument that I've been here for too long, but I'm still not convinced it's a bad thing.

I love my mother very much; we've just a had rough relationship since my dad disappeared.

The mother I had when I was younger.

Where did your dad go? Or do you not know?

We don't know where he went. My dad is/ was a pilot. When it happened, he was piloting a standard flight, but the plane never made it to it's destination and they never found a plane crash or anything.

I was adopted.

... Strange.

If I may ask, who adopted you?

I almost found out something about my dad's fate when I was in the Underworld, but I had to help prevent a thousand years of fire from engulfing the earth. I'll have to look otherwise.

Her name is Lisa Cuddy; she's not on the community anymore.

What is the Underworld?

It's where deceased spirits go to be sorted and stuff. It looks like an office building.

... I see.

Couldn't you go back there and find out?

To get to the Underworld requires a ceremony that I don't know how to perform nor have access to the information or supplies to do.

Are you going to try to change that?

I'd like to think that I can find out the truth about what happened to my dad without the information in the Underworld. My work allows me a lot of access to information; I could find the answer through there yet.

Until then, I'm going to work hard to appreciate the family I do have with me.

... I suppose that makes sense.

If you need to figure out how to get back to this Underworld, will you be able to learn those things?

I think I can learn how to do so if need be.
