Well, you said you liked staying there before, and it always seemed like she enjoyed having you around... Something must have happened.

I was lying. She was lying. You should know that people lie.

I work in criminal law, Your Majesty; I'm well aware that people lie. I guess I just don't understand why you'd lie about something like that and then willingly choose to stay there.

I guess not. Although I don't think Dr. Cuddy is the type to lie about that sort of thing...

Well, I obviously wouldn't know from experience, but it seems to me that the kind of adoration you get from people who only know you as their ruler is a little different than the kind you get from someone who knows you personally and genuinely likes you.

Well, I'm not a genuinely likable person, nor do I genuinely like people myself.

But I think Dr. Cuddy genuinely likes you.
