Visit {BACKDATED TO 12/29/08}

After a brief meeting with a visiting general and a look over a few reports he had given her (she could study them more closely later; she had time), Azula summoned the royal palanquin to take her over to Ty Lee's house. Once there, a servant let her in. She made her way up to Ty Lee's room, where she knocked briskly on the door.

"It's me. I apologize for being slightly late; the meeting ran over."

Azula looked up at her. "Hm? Then what is it?"

"I mean, wouldn't it be awkward...spending the night then?" Ty Lee scratched her chin. "I mean, at the circus someone can't just go off on their own for a while...there's practice always to be done and well, I guess you could visit but it would take a while."

Azula nodded, but her expression was a bit skeptical. "You'd stay just for that?"

"I would stay for other things, but I can't think of anything else right now."

"It's true."

She leaned back in the chair. "I never said it wasn't."

Ty Lee leaned over and gave Azula a quick peck on the cheek. "It makes sense, right?"

"In a sense, I suppose. As much as anything having to do with that sort of thing can."

"Okay."

"So. Is there anything else you wanted to show me?"

"Not really..." Ty Lee looked a bit guilty. "Isn't it pretty, though?"

"I said it was." Azula studied her carefully, wondering where the guilty look was coming from. "... What?"

Ty Lee sat down, without realizing the breach of personal space, on Azula's lap. "Nothing."

"All right." She shifted a bit awkwardly to the side, so that Ty Lee was squeezed next to her instead.

Well, that was no good. She leaned against Azula some more.

Azula slid an arm around her.

"Are you staying?"

Azula shrugged. "I can."

"I'd like you to."

She lightly rested her temple against the top of Ty Lee's head. "All right. Then I will."

"Should we go the bed or not?"

"Sure." Azula untangled herself from Ty Lee, standing up. "... Of course, I don't have my robe."

"You can borrow one of mine," Ty Lee said as she got up as well.

"And where would I change?"

"It's called the bathroom, Azula."

She rolled her eyes. "All right, all right. Just don't give me anything pink to wear."
