No, you don't understand. While we may technically come from the same world, his is an alternate version of mine. There's no reason to think that his version is any indication of my future, particularly given the circumstances.

...but you said the turning point hasn't come yet, so things have been the same up until now, right?

No. By "turning point", I meant the event that lead to my downfall in his universe. It has nothing to do with mine.

So you believe it won't happen in your world.

I know that it won't happen. He only won because he got lucky.

But, er... what I was asking was, I guess-- what exactly makes your world different from his? I mean, do you know of any reason for these... changes in the scenario?

There are a few differences- some small, some quite large. I don't feel like explaining them all in detail. As for the reason, I've heard theories that there are an infinite number of alternate versions of each world. It just so happens that two of mine are showcased here.

No. The differences came about entirely on their own. Why is this such a difficult concept for you to grasp?
