Snow

Azula really did not want to go outside. The cold was one of the things that she hated most in the world, and wet, freezing snow just made it worse. There was absolutely no way that she was going outside in it, for any reason, barring some national security emergency. So Ty Lee was taking a while to get herself over here- that wasn't cause for concern. This was Ty Lee; she had probably stopped to play in the snow or something equally stupid. Still, what she had said earlier niggled in Azula's mind. She claimed not to be feeling sick, but she had been shivering, even indoors.

Azula futilely peered out the window (huffing in annoyance at the awful visibility), hoping to see Ty Lee's bundled-up form coming through the snow. If she didn't see Ty Lee in sixty seconds, she decided, she would go out looking her. One... two... three...

Unfortunately, since Ty Lee wasn't quite awake, she simply stumbled forward a bit.

"Ty Lee." This time, Azula's voice was intended to be ever bit as sharp and loud as it was, and she didn't let up on forcing her to move forward. "Wake up. Come on. You can sleep inside." Unless my suspicions are correct, and you're getting hypothermia.

Ty Lee stumbled forward, but didn't respond further.

Though she really did want Ty Lee to wake up and walk on her own, it was more important to just make sure she got inside. Pulling her arms out of the sleeves and into the coat itself, Azula bent down and scooped Ty Lee up in her arms.

Ty Lee really didn't notice this, as she had fallen unconcious again.

Azula was able to walk a bit faster while carrying Ty Lee. Once inside, she brought her immediately to her bathroom (they were both soaking wet from the snow) and lay her down on the floor before going to get some blankets and a spare robe. Methodically stripping Ty Lee down to her underwear (and feeling quite relieved that she wasn't awake for it), Azula slipped her into the robe and wrapped her in the blankets. After changing her own clothes, she exhaustedly carried Ty Lee back into the bedroom and tucked her into the bed, still trying to keep her as warm as possible.

With a frown, Azula shook her shoulder heavily. "Ty Lee."

She woke up blinking after that...it was weird, what had happened? "U-uh, yeah?"

Azula scowled- but it was a concerned scowl. "You collapsed outside. You fainted or something; I don't know. How do you feel?"

"U-h..." She gave a shudder. "D-dunno..."

Azula climbed into the bed behind Ty Lee, wrapping her arms around her and pulling her against her chest. Even with the heat working, the palace wasn't really equipped to deal with weather this cold, and the room was still quite chilly. "Perhaps you should go somewhere warmer. If you're actually sick I'd recommend the infirmary here at the palace, but it's not likely to be any warmer there."

"It's too cold, Azula."

It was really too cold now...she wasn't shaking now but that didn't matter. Ty Lee couldn't quite focus anymore (even though Azula would say she couldn't focus anyways).

Azula hugged her tighter. "If you're sick, you should get to a hospital. One warmer than ours."

"... Stay awake. Don't fall asleep."

Ty Lee leaned forward, then stopped. "'M tired."

"I don't care- you need to stay awake. You might have hypothermia." Azula frowned, feeling her face and hands. "You're still freezing."
