(no subject)

This place is certainly interesting- and I'm not just talking about the "different worlds" aspect. The vast amount of information stored here is really quite impressive. We have libraries in the Fire Nation, of course; excellent ones- and yet none of them come close to holding the amount of stuff stored in this mysterious database. Obviously, the worth of what we store is far greater- quality is more important; not just anything is worthy of being preserved for posterity. "Fan fiction" about members of the royal family, for instance- even if written with the best of intentions, which most of the writing stored here isn't- is more likely to be ignored or destroyed than kept in a library.

I've been looking back over some of the myriad of conversations I've had since I first discovered this place. The ability to do that is so convenient. You never know- I might find something useful; something I overlooked the first time around. I doubt it, though- I rarely overlook things.

Because that's the way I discovered most of the information I have and I told you that, but you didn't pay attention to me then.

You need to analyze the information though, a lot of it is biased or fake.

Bwahahaha. ^^

You misinterpreted my reaction, then. I've been aware of this place's information-storing capabilities for quite some time.

I realize that; I don't need your instruction.

That mean that you been dumb on purpose?

You should look on Youtube, there's a lot of..information there. Interesting things, I'm telling you.

What are you talking about?

"Youtube"? Perhaps I'll look into it sometime. Though if you're recommending it, I doubt I'll find anything useful.

Nothing, nothing at all.

I recommended you Paris and you liked it. Have some faith in me, princess Azula.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
The fact that I'm mentioning this now doesn't mean that I just discovered it.

That's entirely different.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
But why you decided to use it now?

Why?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Because I had a bit of free time, and I decided that it might be beneficial.

Do you really need me to explain all the differences between vacationing and information-gathering?

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Now you understand why I have Doyle keeping an eye on the comm.

Information is always information, it doesn't matter the subject.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I understood why you did before.

It does.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Good.

Not really. Information is neutral, how you use it is the important thing.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Very true. However, I don't see how the statement "Paris is a nice city" could be of any real use to me.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
If instead of that I would say to you 'the brain stealer live in Paris' you would choose another destination, don't you? information is useful.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
But you didn't say that, did you? Therefore, your point is null and void.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't say it because it wasn't the truth, that doesn't mean that my point is null. Don't make such a statement without real proofs.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-27 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You were trying to verify one statement by adding onto it. It still changes nothing about the utility of the original statement.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
I disagree, but since we have different points of views that conversation is quite pointless.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
Obviously.
