Mmmm.

I just love being able to worldhop myself- not only will it be far easier to find and punish those who wrong me, but vacations like this are so much simpler. I could easily run the Fire Nation from abroad forever, if I so desired (which I don't, but that's beside the point)- earlier today I went back for a short meeting with a few generals, and also to pick up some reports. The entire process took less than twenty minutes.

I really do hope that the brain-stealer has given up on trying to find us, because I'd quite like to be able to stay here a bit longer. It's very... relaxing.

I never thought of you as a squatter.

But nevertheless, showing up uninvited does not mean you control whether you were invited.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not.

It means that, regardless of whether or not I was invited, I have the power to control the situation

Squatter: a person who settles on land or occupies property without title, right, or payment of rent.

Congratulations. Now, you bring this up because...?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
I am royalty. When necessary, e can do these things without the negative connotations.

I'm just letting you know where we stand.
oceanicbutterfly: (heh)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
You're royalty in your world. Here, you're just another teenage girl. Probably out during school hours, even.

Making sure I will expect you to appear suddenly in my world?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 01:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll appear that way, true. But I'm sure you don't disregard the titles of foreign dignitaries when they visit your country.

If need be, yes.

If they're from countries that exist. If I wandered around the Fire Nation claiming to be the princess of Coca-Cola or something, I find it unlikely your citizens would give me the benefit of the doubt. I'd suggest claiming your school is Cinq Lumiere when they catch you. You won't get off lightly for skipping school, but at least I'll be able to "find" you some records. You'd be in trouble otherwise.

I'll make up a guest bed, then.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I doubt need the benefit of the doubt. Whether or not they would believe me would be none of my concern.

Hm. As I said, I doubt it'll be necessary.

... And anyway, there would be two of us coming. I did tell you that I would be accompanying her, correct?
oceanicbutterfly: (hmm)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
It would be if someone caught you squatting on Minazuki property. Hmm... you'd have to be a third year. Probably high test scores, since you're clearly intelligent, but a low class standing to be consistent with your truancy.

I like to be prepared.

Of course. Why do you bring this up?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
A low class standing?

Hm.

You said you'd prepare "a bed".

Students with poor attendence tend to have poor performance to match. Moreover, if you were second in the class, people would expect to recognize you.

I did say that. Your point?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't pretend to be a student.

There would be two of us.
oceanicbutterfly: (stop being an idiot)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
All fifteen-year-old girls here are students.

Yes, we've been over that already. Are you going somewhere with this?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I would come up with my own story; you needn't worry about that.

Two people typically implies two beds.
oceanicbutterfly: (smirk)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? I'd like to hear this story.

It's a big bed. You'll fit.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 05:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I see no reason to come up with one yet.

...
oceanicbutterfly: (heh)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 05:45 pm (UTC)(link)
So you'll be making up a cover story on the spur of the moment to explain your presence in a world you know very little about. I hope you do come here, so I can watch.

You could even bring Mai along, assuming none of you squirm too much in your sleep.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll have time. And besides, I'm quite good at lying on the spot.

...

Mai isn't here with us.
oceanicbutterfly: (all right)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll look forward to it.

It was just an example.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure.

Hm. I would never sleep in the same bed as Mai.
oceanicbutterfly: (business)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm just saying you could.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
But I wouldn't, so it's irrelevant.
oceanicbutterfly: (stop being an idiot)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 07:25 pm (UTC)(link)
The fact that I said Mai in particular isn't important. I'm just trying to give you an idea of how big the beds are.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, you shouldn't have used Mai as an example.
oceanicbutterfly: (headache)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-10-26 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Would you have preferred I used myself?
