Earth holidays don't seem strange or foreign to me anymore. Last weekend was "Mother's Day", and celebrating it didn't seem weird at all-- it was normal, even though we didn't have anything like it in the Fire Nation.

You could make the argument that I've been here for too long, but I'm still not convinced it's a bad thing.

You probably haven't met very many truly nice people if you think I'm an overall nice person.

I can understand that.

Earth is very concerned with taking care of anything and everything at school, though. At least, that's how it seemed during that virus.

Hmm. I'm not sure I'd rely just on what school teaches in that respect. It's all very...basic.

Where do you get the less basic stuff, then? Books?

Mm, or the internet. Or parents, if we're lucky enough to have parents who we can actually discuss that stuff with.

Isn't everything on the internet lewd and disgusting? At least where that subject is concerned.

To get to the Underworld requires a ceremony that I don't know how to perform nor have access to the information or supplies to do.

Are you going to try to change that?

Why?

I'd like to think that I can find out the truth about what happened to my dad without the information in the Underworld. My work allows me a lot of access to information; I could find the answer through there yet.

Until then, I'm going to work hard to appreciate the family I do have with me.

... I suppose that makes sense.

If you need to figure out how to get back to this Underworld, will you be able to learn those things?

I think I can learn how to do so if need be.
