I'm still having less nightmares, but not yet none at all. They're still there, in the background, trying to get through. Last night I slept in my bed in the other room and accidentally left the sleep satchel in Lisa's bed, and they were back in full force.

Maybe they're never going to go away.

Yeah... This one they just held was the 74th. Hard to imagine that something like this has gone on for so long, you know? Most people don't even remember a time before the Hunger Games was started.

I know how you feel, but we have such a surplus of ingredients at the shop that we have to throw out anything we don't sell. I'd much rather see people eating it than have it rot in the trash.

Well, it's only natural, I think. Since my parents were bakers, it makes sense that they'd name their kids after types of bread. In District 11, most people are named after plants, like you. They're the agriculture district, after all.

And you go through that just to help the people in your district? That's... I don't know if I could do that. You must be like a hero.

Maybe that makes sense to you, but naming schemes not so common here. I like it.

It wasn't really my choice... I was selected by a random lottery to become a tribute. We all are. But at least something good came from me being chosen. I don't really feel like much of a hero...

Well, it's simple, in my opinion.

I know a the Chosen, and believe me, there's a world of difference between being chosen to do something and doing it. Take the credit where its due.

Embarrassment not intended, I swear! I guess I should explain - my best friend, Buffy, pretty much is a superhero. So it's a, a topic for me.

What's the difference between a regular hero and a superhero? If you don't mind me asking.

It's a fine line, but for me, personally, superheros have powers. Or just a tragic past and a lot of money to spend on gadgets, like Batman.
