I'm still having less nightmares, but not yet none at all. They're still there, in the background, trying to get through. Last night I slept in my bed in the other room and accidentally left the sleep satchel in Lisa's bed, and they were back in full force.

Maybe they're never going to go away.

Well, because we have to toss out anything that doesn't get sold at the end of the day, and I'd rather just give it to someone who might like it...

... You want to give something to me? But you don't even know me.

I don't. But I think good food has a way of bringing people together, don't you?

I don't know. It's just food.

Maybe. But I put a lot of heart into what I do! If my bread and cakes can put a smile on someone's face, then all the hard work I put into baking it was well worth the effort. Food nourishes, but I think it should also be enjoyed, too.

... I guess.

Well, if it's all right with you, I could send you some of the leftovers from the shop today. Since you don't have a particular preference, I'll let you sample some of our more popular breads and cakes.

Oh, by all means. I'd love it if you shared with your family. Like I said, good food has a way of bringing people together.

If you like tea, I've been working on making some tea cakes. They're not as popular as most of the breads, so I'm sure we'll have plenty to give out at the end of the day.

I like tea.

I do, too. Not everyday, of course. But it's a lot more than most people could afford around here, so we were lucky to even have the option of drinking it.

It's not that expensive.

Maybe not for you, but for a lot of people in the Seam, it is. It's not uncommon to see people starving in the streets. That's why I make it a point not to waste even a single loaf of bread because I know there's someone out there who could really use it.

So why don't you give it to them instead of people on the community?

Oh, I do, trust me! But I have so much surplus for ingredients that I really don't know what to do with it all. That's why I figured that maybe I could give a little bit to people on the community.

Do you want tea in exchange or something?

If you'd like to give me some, I'd be more than happy to receive it. I know a few people who really like mint tea, too.

I'll ask Lisa which kinds she wants to give away.

That's a pretty name. It reminds me of a flower, for some reason...

I'm named for my grandfather, Azulon. He was a Fire Lord too.

That's nice. I'm just named after a type of bread... My brothers, too. Not all that imaginative, I know.

That's a silly thing to name heirs after.

Well, I guess Mom and Dad figured we'd all be bakers, just like them. And we are. It's either that or work in the coal mines, and no one really enjoys that sort of work.
