I hate Cross Marian and everyone like him.

I also hate people who let people like him use them, don't even care that he's a self-absorbed jerk, and defend him even when he's being rude to and insulting their supposed friends.

Well it wasn't.

He doesn't deserve any benefit of the doubt after all that, but she'd give the benefit of the doubt to a person standing over a body and holding a knife, even if they flat-out told her that they were guilty.

... And all she'll do in private is apologize for me, even if he's the one who should be apologizing to both of us. She doesn't like me any more or any differently than anyone else, she just feels sorry for me.

Then I think she's a very kind person. It takes so much strength to overlook the faults of people like that. I can't even try to do something like that.

Mister Cross has already apologised to her. If you took a moment away to calm down and you just talked to him, he might understand where you're coming from and the situation would be resolved.

I may not know her personally, but she seems like she's a strong woman. I think she has boundaries, and I think she'll know when something reaches them. You should trust her more to take care of herself. If she wants to do that, isn't it her own choice?
