(no subject)

The leaves are changing color in New Jersey, and some of them are falling off the trees. I've heard of this phenomenon, of course-- it happens in the northern Earth Kingdom, among other places-- but I've never actually seen it for myself until now. Is it common on Earth worlds?

... It's also getting colder; I can especially tell at night. Does it snow on Earth, too?

OOC: I AM GOING TO COMMENT ON EVERY SINGLE PERSON'S LOVE MEME THREAD as well as (hopefully) help with activity check verifications, but right I'm stuck with a pile of homework and can't multitask with anything more involved than tagging. DX But this evening you're all going to get spammed; I WILL CIRCLE YOUR JERKS (jerk your circles?) SO HARD YOU WON'T KNOW WHAT HIT YOU. 8|

It's common in places with warm summers and cold winters.

And yes, you'll get snow in New Jersey.

OOC: I have just realized I am not in [livejournal.com profile] adddictions which would explain why things aren't appearing on my f'list. brb fixing that

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I know. That's why we don't get it in the Fire Nation; it's hot (or at least warm) all year round.

And a lot of cold, I'm assuming?

[livejournal.com profile] adddictions is spammy and amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. 8)

It's the changing seasons.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I know that. Just because it doesn't happen in my country doesn't mean I'm ignorant.

[identity profile] jagan-glare.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Just thought I'd enlighten you. It doesn't happen everywhere here, either. Jersey's in the Northern Hemisphere, so it's gonna get cold and snowy.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't need to be enlightened.

How cold?

[identity profile] honestcop.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
It'll get below the freezing point of water most nights in the winter.

OOC: JOINED

[identity profile] jagan-glare.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Freezing cold. You'll have to bundle up.

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
It's called autumn.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
... Freezing?

OOC: BE WARNED, SOMETIMES IT'S HARD TO ESCAPE

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
... Even indoors? But there's heating.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I know.

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Then why are you acting so surprised?
attorneyatlol: (Hmmm...)

[personal profile] attorneyatlol 2009-10-01 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I know it's common on my Earth. So is snow.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not. All I did was ask if it was common here.

Besides, as I said, I've never seen it for myself before.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
And cold, I'm assuming.

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
In most places, it is.

Just wait until the snow. It's the worst.

[identity profile] honestcop.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I just checked the climate data for Trenton. In December, January, and February, the average low temperature is below freezing.

[identity profile] jagan-glare.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah, there's heating in most places. You head outside though, you'll want to be covered up. Head-to-toe if you're not used to it.
attorneyatlol: (Hmmm #2)

[personal profile] attorneyatlol 2009-10-01 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
In most places, yeah.

Not a big fan?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I know; I was caught in a blizzard last year thanks to this place.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
... Where's Trenton?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Great.

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
... The community made it snow?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Not at all, especially not with the trouble Hades gave us in the Fire Nation last year.
