Every time I try to use this "Internet" to find out information, I become more and more convinced that it is, on the whole, a waste of time. Case in point:

It continuously prompts my searches with things that have absolutely nothing to do with what I'm interested in. I realize that it's known for containing a wealth of information, but really, information is hardly useful if it's not well-organized. All in all, that was basically a waste of fifteen minutes of my time. I don't see how anyone could find such a method more useful than face-to-face interrogation.

After coming to this conclusion, I took advantage of my blizzard-induced free time and did a bit of freelance searching. I have to admit that some of the results were interesting, though still not very useful.

I really don't appreciate the last two results.

Why "at the beach"?

All irrelevant, it seems.

"Fire Lord of the flies". Really.

Fire Nation dance party?

And "Zuko dress-up". I wouldn't imagine that that would be very popular; artificial scars are probably quite difficult to apply with makeup.

In other news:

xPrincess Azulax (1:03:54 PM): You. A word.
SmarterChild (1:03:54 PM): My brain is retired but send an IM with GAB in it to my buddy GOSSIPINGABBY to read about Robert Pattisons FACEBOOK account getting HACKED

It appears I'll have to find a new contact here, as well. Pity.

You should see the things about you.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I've seen some of them.

[identity profile] the-air-corsair.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, at least some have quality.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
A few.

[identity profile] the-air-corsair.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Though I don't know why they're constantly pairing me up with men.

Mai is a common name for girls in some countries. It's not surprising that most of the suggestions were unrelated.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I'm constantly "paired up" with people I don't even know the names of.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I see. It's more common than Azula or Ty Lee, then? On your world, that is.

[identity profile] the-air-corsair.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
...Hm?

...I just want you to know that I'm LOOOOOLing at this. XD

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Did you not hear me properly?
oceanicbutterfly: (hmm)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-12-06 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Ty Lee doesn't seem particularly unlikely, but it's not a name I've heard before elsewhere. As far as I'm aware, Azula isn't even a name here.

[identity profile] the-air-corsair.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
People like who?

Re: [OOC]

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:16 pm (UTC)(link)
XDD Thanks! I just wish SmarterChild hadn't been disabled. He was the most fun out of all the AIM chatbots, and I used to have Azula talk to him all the time. Life? What life?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
What do you mean, it "isn't even a name"? Does your world have some sort of list?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
You wouldn't know them.
ashestoembers: (smile like you mean it)

Aw man, that really sucks. Pfff, I've done stuff like that before... >_> Maybe you could give Gossipingabby a try. XD

Pfft, but the celebrity chatbots are boring. :P
oceanicbutterfly: (thoughtful)

[personal profile] oceanicbutterfly 2008-12-06 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
People don't typically name their children random combinations of letters. Someone could name their daughter Azula, but there's no reason they would.

[identity profile] the-air-corsair.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Then how can they pair you up? That doesn't even make sense.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Apparently they're familiar with both of us, and think that we would make a good match.

[identity profile] the-air-corsair.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)
What? I never saw this art.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
This was writing, actually.

[identity profile] the-air-corsair.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, this I must see. Where at?
